About Lacrosse Camp – 2017 LACROSSE CAMP CANCELLED


  • Week 1:  June 20 – 24  (1st Grade to 8th Grade) –  CANCELLED


The Competitive Edge Lacrosse camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game in a fun and
exciting way to boys in 1st through 8th grade. The objective of this camp is to develop and improve each
and every camper’s conditioning, individual skills and game awareness. This is achieved through highlevel
instruction from Varsity/ Club coaches, DI and DIII college players and special guests that could
include MLL players, College All-Americans and Team USA and/or Irish National team players. Campers will be divided up by both age and experience to better guide the instruction of play.  

The camp’s head instructor is Pete Higgins, PDS Middle School Coach.



Monday through Thursday

8:30-8:45am – Drop-off

8:45-10:30am – “Fundamental of the game” skills training

10:30-11:00am – Break and one on one work

11:00am-12:00pm – Positional training (offensive/ defensive specific work)

12:00-12:45pm – Lunch (not provided)

12:45-1:00pm – Warm up

1:00-2:15pm – Small area games and team concepts (2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v4)

2:15-3:15pm – Scrimmage (controlled) and tournament play

3:30pm – Dismissal


8:30am – Drop-off

8:45-9:15am – Warm-up

9:15-11:45am – Championship day round robin tournament

12:00pm – Dismissal
